Teen Writer Resources
Where Teens Write is closing it’s doors to community members, BUT there is another community online for you. You can find it at Teen Author’s Journal. Like WTW, it’s a smaller community where you can build relationships with others and hone your writing skills. I wish you all the best!!
This conference is held every June, and just like this site, it’s for writer’s ages 13-19. This year, it’s on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the Weber County Library, Weber, Utah, near Salt Lake City. It’s ONLY open for teen registrants – no exceptions/no adults – which is pretty cool.
And, Brandon Mull is the keynote speaker.
The cost is $45 which includes lunch and five workshop sessions as well as panel discussions and a keynote speaker. You also get to meet and learn from a variety of published authors – the schedule for this year looks great.
My little disclaimer – I haven’t attended this event, BUT I have spoken with teens who have attended the Teen Writers Conference in Utah, and it comes super highly recommended.
